    1. Just Like Grandmas At the Clay Pan Gallery The Claypan Gallery in Dubbo features a superb collection of in-house and locally produced pottery, silver jewellery, paintings and woodwork. The Claypan Gallery is set in a beautifully restored historic building. Stop in to browse through the gallery or for a coffee or lunch in the Gallery Coffee Shop.
    2. Lazy River Estate Lazy River Estate Vineyard is owned and operated by the Scott family. A member of the Macquarie Vignerons Association, Lazy River grows Semillon, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
    3. Red Earth Estate Vineyard Red Earth Estate offers free wine tasting, morning and afternoon tea, cheese platters with regional produce, function and conference facilities, and art exhibitions.

Tombstone Estate Vineyard Come relax and enjoy tasting their premium hand picked and traditionally grown wine at Tombstone Estate Vineyard and Rose Gardens, while overlooking the tranquil Old World Rose Garden. They are located just five kilometres from town on the Mitchell Highway, at Basalt Road. They are open five days a week.

    3. Old Dubbo Gaol Old Dubbo Gaol is one of the most popular tourist attractions in country New South Wales. The fully restored 1800s Gaol is enhanced with some of the latest technology in entertainment. Animatronics and hologram exhibits bring to life the stories and atmosphere of this fascinating place and relic of pioneering Australia.

    1. Dundullimal Homestead A visit to the National Trust’s Dubbo property, Dundullimal, is a special experience, which will allow you to step back in time, into rural life in the early colony. Built in the early 1840s as the head station of a 6,500 hectare squatting run, the homestead is the oldest building in Dubbo that is open to the public. Enjoy a relaxing tour, with assistance from a volunteer guide.

    1. Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre The Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre is located within Victoria Park on Talbragar Street. It features a 50 metre outdoor pool, two childrens pools and a waterslide. Canteen and swimming gear are also available for purchase. Dubbo's climate in summer makes this pool a must-do when visiting. Barbecues are also available.
    2. Tracker Riley Cycleway This 3.1km pathway was named in honour of the legendary Aboriginal tracker, Sergeant Alex Riley. It includes 30m span bridge, 3 rest stops and passes through Sir roden Cutler Park. The cycleway will lead you along the Macquarie River through to the Western Plains Zoo.
    3. Water Park The Water Park for little hands, little feet and big smiles all add to a great family day out. Bring a picnic, stay an hour, or a day. The Water Park has and expansive lawn area, shelters, playground and toilets. A number of different water spraying equipment is provided to help cool off during the warmer months. Adult supervision is required.

    1. Astro Mini Golf Plus Set in the grounds of the Dubbo Observatory this cosmic experience awaits you. It's a journey of both educational and fun.
    2. Dubbo Observatory At the Dubbo Observatory you can zoom into the moon and solar system, discover the Milky Way and beyond with the most high-tech telescopes in the West. Be informed and entertained with the 90 minute program that commences with an audio-visual, then venture out into the night sky and view the stars through the telescopes.

    1. Dubbo Golf Cub The Dubbo Golf Club was established as an 18 hole course in 1903 and was relocated to its current position in 1921. In 1995, the 18 hole course was expanded to a state-of-the-art 27 hole course.
    2. Dubbo Ten Pin Bowling At Dubbo Ten Pin Bowling enjoy bowling with friends and family at the Dubbo Ten Pin Bowling Arcade. Dubbo Victoria Park Action Sport Precinct The Dubbo Skate Park, located in the Victoria Park Regional Action Sports Precinct, is considered a world-class skate park and is designed to challenge and grow the skills of skaters as well as attract national and international athletes. The Dubbo Skate Park features Australia's first "full pipe" competition grade skate park.
    4. Golfwest From the swing of a young child to the drive of an adult, Golfwest caters for the whole family. Whether its practising you swing at the driving range or testing the putting skills on the 18 hole Augusta MiniGolf challenge, there is sure to be fun had at Golf West.

    1. Western Plains Riding Centre The Western Plains Riding Centre offers trail rides on gentle horses with experienced escorts. Take a relaxing one hour ride overlooking Dubbo city or a two hour ride on stock reserves to Mugga Hill or a half day ride to the Talbragar River. Riding lessons are also available for beginners.

    1. 23rd Bottle and Collectors Show and Trading Fair Come along and browse through the hundreds of items for sale or swap. This event has a strong following of collector enthusiasts and has been running in Dubbo for 24 years. There will be a full canteen available during both days. The event is held in the heart of Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre. Don't miss this opportunity to complete your collections and grab a memorable piece of history.
    2. 34th Toyota Nationals The Toyota Nationals is Australia's premiere all Toyota car event presented by Dubbo City Toyota. The event includes an opportunity for car enthusiasts from all over Australia to catch up, a show 'n' shine, tarmac motorkhana and awards dinner. If you love Toyotas, love a good long weekend away then they'll see you at the Toyota Nationals.
    3. National Daimler and Lanchester Owners Car Rally The National Daimler and Lanchester Owners Car Rally in Dubbo will have all vehicles displayed and judged on Day 1. The history of each car will be shown and the public is welcome.
    4. Orana Caravan Camping 4WD and Boat Show The Orana Caravan Camping 4WD and Boat Show has over 160 exhibitors displaying everything you will ever need for caravan, camping, four wheel driving, fishing and boats.
    5. Oxley Downs Open Weekend "Oxley Downs" is the setting for the television series Outback House and is a wonderful historical resource depicting life in early Australia.
    6. The Golden Oldies presents The Dubbo Vintage Truck and Tractor Show The Dubbo Vintage Truck and Tractor Show in 2010 will have even more trucks, tractors, steam tractor engines, cars and introducing a fantastic display of stationary engines.

    1. NSW Touch Country Championships The Country Championships will continue to be held at the Riverside Fields in Dubbo. The Dubbo Touch Association has hosted the last 15 tournaments and has become the home of the Country Championships.
